We had the privilege of partnering with Domus Software to develop a groundbreaking management software tailored for property managers. Novio is not just another software; it represents the next generation of property management solutions, integrating AI-guided functionalities that simplify even the most complex tasks. Our goal was to create an intuitive platform accessible to both industry veterans and newcomers.

The design challenge was to ensure clarity and simplicity, making it easy for users from all backgrounds to navigate and utilize Novio's powerful features. We focused on delivering a cohesive look and feel that aligns seamlessly with Novio's brand identity. To achieve this, we designed a comprehensive design system that serves as the visual foundation for all user interactions within the platform, ensures consistency and scalability, and provides a versatile visual toolbox for future growth and development.

As a stand alone application in the Domus product suite, a new brand identity was needed to be established. We designed a new brand identity, including a logo, color palette, and typography. We also designed a set of brand icons that were used throughout the application to create a cohesive look and feel.

Users are greeted with a clean and modern login screen that is easy to use. The onboarding process is designed to help new users get up and running quickly.

Multiple customizable dashboard views are offered, allowing users to quickly access financials, properties, ongoing tasks, and more. These dashboards provide a comprehensive overview and serve as an efficient entry point for managing various aspects of property management.

The structure of Novio is designed with a tree topology: Property → Object → Unit, Property → Spaces, Property → Equipment. This interconnected system ensures that any changes are synchronized across all related components, providing a seamless and cohesive management experience.

Novio Properties List — List of all properties under management acts as an entry point for all actions related to properties.

Novio Property Detail View — The property detail view allows to get a quick overview of the entire property inventory.

Adding a new property in Novio is streamlined through an intuitive 4-step wizard. This workflow simplifies the process, guiding users through each step to ensure all necessary details are captured efficiently and accurately.

Add Units to a Property — Units can be added in bulk to a new property under management.

Configure detailed Unit settings — Each unit can immediately be setup in full detail.

Review property setup before importing — The last step of the wizard allows to review the entire property to be created, including all objects, units, equipment, and spaces.

Acting as a central hub, Novio connects property management companies, property owners, renters, and service providers. For example, if a renter reports a leaking bathroom, the management company can create a process in Novio, assign a service provider, and notify all relevant parties. The service provider can then schedule a repair, complete the job, and submit an invoice, all within the platform. This integrated approach ensures smooth communication and efficient resolution of issues.

Capturing invoices and other documents — Documents such as invoices are OCR'd and important information is automatically extracted.

Novio features a Command+K menu that can be accessed from anywhere in the app. This menu offers smart quick actions and full AI integration, allowing users to perform tasks efficiently and enhance their productivity.

Novio is an all-in-one solution for property management companies. It is specialized for the German market and can handle huge property portfolios with thousands of units and objects, as well as shared ownerships. The platform integrates various functionalities to streamline property management tasks, making it a comprehensive tool for the industry.

Novio handles all accounting and finance tasks. It creates invoices, collects payments, and manages cash flow. Bank accounts are integrated with Novio, allowing for easy payment processing and account management. This ensures that all financial operations are streamlined and efficient.

The application was crafted with a mobile-first approach. It's fully responsive and works seamlessly across all devices. Built as a progressive web app, it allows for easy installation and offline access, ensuring users can manage their properties on the go without any limitations.
